This comes down to the individual. Private sessions might be best if you have specific needs surrounding rehabilitation, training goals or you’re just after a little more privacy and focused attention. Our classes are kept small and personalised to help cater to different needs however we understand these are not for everyone.
Like with any form of exercise the more time you put in the more results you will see. Depending on your goals we recommend 2-3 sessions per week for noticeable results. We understand everyone’s needs are different, so we are happy to discuss your individualised goals and come up with a plan that works for you.
In the famous words of Joseph Pilates “You will feel better in ten sessions, look better in twenty sessions, and have a completely new body in thirty sessions.”

Concessions offer flexibility without any commitment. They’re perfect for those who are away a lot for work and just want to attend when it’s suitable for them. Memberships offer the best value for regular attendees with 2, 3 and 4 class options available to suit all!
Comfortable clothes that you can bend, twist and move freely in! Try to stick to form fitting attire for safety and ability to see correct posture through movement. Socks are mandatory in all classes for hygiene reasons. Grip socks are recommended for not only sanitary reasons but safety reasons as they help you grip the moving carriage. We stock a range of Move Active grip socks for purchase at $20 a pair in the studio.

We welcome all soon to be mothers as we recognise reformer to be one of the safest and supportive forms of exercise when pregnant. We welcome ladies in their first trimester to join any class and those in their second and third trimester to join our beginner classes or one of our private sessions as we modify certain exercises to make sure you and your baby are kept safe! Any concerns or questions we recommend you speak to your doctor, midwife or obstetrician before attending classes.
We recommend that mothers don’t return to the studio until 6 weeks after birth for vaginal births and 12 weeks for C-Section births. Research shows it takes around 6 weeks for internal organs to return to their original pre-natal position. Any concerns or questions we recommend you speak to your doctor, midwife or obstetrician before returning to classes.
You will find descriptions of each of our classes on the ‘schedule page’ and our ‘classes page’. Each of our classes are limited to 8 people or less, so you will have personalised attention from one of our knowledgeable instructors throughout the class. We urge you to try out a range of classes to see what you like and where you feel most comfortable. We are always happy to have a chat with you and help point you in the right direction as to where to start!
