Meet our People
Natalie Drayton
Owner and Head Trainer
Coming from a paramedicine background and dealing with health issues in an acute setting I am reminded daily of the importance of moving our bodies and prioritising our health, especially as we age and our bodies become less forgiving. I truly believe in the importance of movement and think it really can be the best medicine, both physically and mentally!
A health & fitness enthusiast since way back, I have always dreamt of creating a space where both my passion for health &fitness and my love of helping people within a clinical setting can come to life.
Studio Experience
We believe that Pilates is the path to a fuller, more satisfying physical existence. We believe that being in control of your body helps you to be in control of your life.
Personal Training
Our individualized personal training focus on each student’s particular needs. Is personal training right for you?
The Team
Our instructors perform hundreds of hours of training to meet teacher standards so they can provide the highest quality workouts.
Ladies, don’t let intimidation stop you from going to the gym, women’s fitness is important! Ativo gives you the ability to work out without distractions while providing a positive and empowering environment. Intimidation time is over, we’re here to help you feel safe to exercise.
We believe that every woman should have a space they can step into their power, feel the confidence and strength to pursue any endeavor in their lives, without judgment or intimidation- but celebrated and supported.
We are so proud of our team at Ativo. Not only does every trainer love to share Pilates with all of our clients, but each of them also has amazing stories to share about their own lives and transformations.
All of our teachers are fully certified and bring something unique to their classes and clients.
All of our trainers follow the same assessment, training, and performance protocol. Train with elite pilates professionals who have a track record of getting clients outstanding results. Ativo ensures that your workouts are goal-oriented with purpose and direction, taking the guesswork out of your program.
If you don’t have a goal, it’s hard to be motivated to workout for your goals. If your goal isn’t specific, it will prove to be very difficult to have the motivation or knowledge of how to achieve the goal.
Working with a professional trainer provides both the HOW and the confidence that it can be done! Ambitious beginners and gym rats, we all have our ups and downs when it comes to shaping our bodies, men and women alike, but setting smart short-term and long-term fitness goals before we start training will make the difference between actually reaching our targets and giving up after the first days of sweating.
The
Studio
We hold our studio to a high standard of cleanliness. We staff a team of pool professionals to ensure the quality and safety of the pool water.
Our filtration system filters the whole body of water 10 times a day and our salt generator is one of the most advanced technology on the market. We are proud to say that we have always successfully passed every Health Inspection since opening our doors.
Athletic Performance
These classes are designed to improve mobility, flexibility and strength. With a focus on expanding your range of motion and improving areas in your body that may be weakened or restricting optimal performance in your chosen discipline. These are small group sessions so you will have plenty of attention from our instructor who will be providing modifications throughout the class to make sure your individual needs are met. Let us show you what the Reformer can do for you!
